It sound like the reunion and birthday party were very enjoyable for those who attended. We were sorry to miss both. We spent the summer working at a scout camp at 9,000 ft and had a great time. As soon as camp was over we flew to Rome, Italy, to visit Brandi and Andi who live in Switzerland. Before we even got to the campsite where we were going to spend the first week the car was broken into and all our stuff was stolen. All we had were the things we were carrying. Thank goodness we had our passports and credit cards. We had a good time at the beach, Pisa, and Venice before going to Switzerland where we climbed several mountains, visited a few castles, did a lake cruise, a couple of museums, and a play of William Tell. Oh, and we went to the Swiss temple twice. My recommend was stolen so the temple president had to call my stake president and wake him up because of the time difference. It is a strange experience when three people who are supposed to be communicating are speaking three different languages. Brandi and Andi both are translators in their ward. A lot of Americans are there who do not speak German. We are back in Artesia now and are doing well. The rest of the family is doing well, also. I guess Jennifer and family will be moving to Provo from ND and Lisa and family will be moving to Seattle. Mike and his family just moved to San Antonio and he was just sealed in that temple to his new wife, Marcia. We are expecting three new babies (Lisa, Telynn, Brandi) so that will be fun and give us 27 grandkids. Things just keep getting better.
Thanks to Shauna for all you do for mother.
Love you all.
Eldon and Dawn
